I'm a wife, mom of two, rose enthusiast, plant addict, and the person behind Quarter Acre Wood.

What started as a love of gardening has slowly turned into a backyard filled with roses, flowers, vegetables, birds, butterflies, and usually far more plants than I have room for.

Quarter Acre Wood is my little corner of Collierville, Tennessee, where I grow seasonal cut flowers to share locally. I gather my bouquets from what's blooming in the garden, so they change with the seasons. You might find dahlias and zinnias one week, snapdragons and lisianthus another, and plenty of unexpected garden favorites mixed in along the way.

One of my biggest goals with Quarter Acre Wood is to make locally grown flowers feel accessible. I believe beautiful, freshly cut flowers can be an everyday joy, not something saved only for special occasions. I hope to offer fresh, seasonal bouquets at an affordable price so bringing home a little bit of the garden can be something you do just because.

Grown With the Garden in Mind

Everything at Quarter Acre Wood is grown using organic growing methods, with the health of the garden and the wildlife that calls it home always in mind.

The garden is a Certified Wildlife Habitat and a Certified Monarch and Butterfly Garden, with flowers and plants grown not only for cutting, but also to provide food and habitat for birds, bees, butterflies, and other pollinators.

Eastern Bluebirds have become a beloved part of the garden. Through nest box monitoring and habitat efforts, 12 Eastern Bluebirds successfully fledged here in 2026, and watching each brood grow has become one of my favorite parts of gardening.

Growing this way means working with nature as much as possible and being thoughtful about what is used in the garden.

Why Local Flowers?

Locally grown flowers are wonderfully seasonal. Instead of traveling thousands of miles before reaching your vase, these flowers are grown, harvested, and arranged right here in Collierville.

That means the flowers you take home reflect what's actually blooming in Tennessee at that moment. Each bouquet is a little different, and that's exactly how I think it should be.
